Study grants awarded by the Italian government to foreigners

22/02/2010 - Also for the academic year 2010-2011 (1st October to 30th September, for doctoral or masters courses up to 31st March 11) the Italian government awards study grants to foreigners as a contribution toward their studies and research in Italy in an effort to encourage international cultural cooperation and the dissemination of the Italian language, culture and sciences.

A total of 198 monthly installments will be available for citizens of Austria, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Spain, The Netherlands and The United Kingdom in the so-called "Pool Europe". The study grants are paid in net monthly installments increased this year from EUR 620 to EUR 800. Expenses for accident and illness insurance are covered directly by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Borse di studio concesse dal Governo italiano ai cittadini stranieri

22/02/2010 - Anche per l’anno accademico 2010-2011 (1 ottobre 2010-30 settembre 2011, per i corsi di Dottorato e/o di Master fino al 31 marzo 2012), il Governo italiano mette a disposizione borse di studio per cittadini stranieri.
Le borse costituiscono un contributo per effettuare studi e ricerche in Italia e mirano a favorire la cooperazione culturale internazionale e la diffusione della conoscenza della lingua, della cultura e della scienza italiana.

Un totale di 198 mensilità è concesso a favore di cittadini di Austria, Germania, Irlanda, islanda, Norvegia, Paesi Bassi, Regno Unito e Spagna, che concorreranno nell’ambito del cosiddetto “Pool Europa”, istitutito in base al principio di reciprocità. L’importo del borsellino mensile è stato innalzato da 620 a 800 Euro netti. Il costo per l’assicurazione malattie e infortuni è sostenuto direttamente dal Ministero degli Affari Esteri.
